HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT & QUALITY POLICY

Bayfield Oil Services Limited (BOSL) is a player in the Oil and Gas Industry in Ghana providing services and products such as the sale, and rental of Cargo Carrying Units, Tanks and lifting accessories to Upstream Oil and Gas Companies and the manufacture of slings and wire ropes.

Our day-to-day activities will be guided by the principle that all employees must work in a safe, secure, and environmentally responsible manner. We are also committed to ensuring our services and products fully meet the requirements of customers and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction at all times.

We will achieve these by:

  • Ensuring our integrated management system satisfies the requirements of ISO 45001:2018; ISO 14001:2015; and ISO 9001:2015.
  • Ensuring that our Integrated Management System is appropriate to the purpose and context of the organization, and supports its strategic direction, and environmental impacts of its activities, products, and services.
  • Commitment to protect the environment and prevent pollution, and other specific commitment(s) relevant to the context of the organization such as sustainable resource use.
  • Commitment to providing safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health and is appropriate to the purpose, size, and context of the organization and to the specific nature of our OH&S risks and OH&S opportunities.
  • Commitment to the elimination of hazards and the reduction of OH&S risks using the hierarchy of controls.
  • Providing a framework for setting OH&S, Environmental objectives, and Quality objectives as IMS objectives and targets
  • Commitment to fulfilling compliance obligations and satisfying legal requirements, and other requirements as well as applicable requirements.
  • Commitment to participation and involvement of workers, and relevant workers’ representatives, in the decision-making processes.
  • Commitment to continual improvement of the EMS, OHS, and QMS to enhance the performance of the collective IMS

This policy is communicated, understood, and, applied within the organization through general orientation training and ongoing training of new and existing employees respectively, and is made available to our interested parties as appropriate.
